An understanding of philosophical principles is a novel, yet familiar way, to introduce children to essential skills like critical thinking, abstract thinking, and self-discipline. Philosophy is the perfect medium to provide moral orientation without including or excluding any of the religious beliefs of American families. Furthermore, philosophical study promotes and encourages children to become fully developed thinkers and more productive citizens of the community.
